Solutions

The Rescue System concept solution consist on an array of either a single or multiple cabins, permanently stored on the roof in a folded position, ready to spring into action and deployed, when needed. The Escape Standard System can evacuate some 150 persons per trip, while the Escape Lite System can accommodate 30 persons. The number of trips is essentially unlimited and each cycle takes approximately 1.5 minutes.

Upon deployment, the cabin array is lowered to the ground. It then unfolds, enabling emergency responders to board the cabin/s and travel up the building. It travels upwards until it stops opposite the elevated floors, enabling people to enter through specially configured exit openings. The array is then lowered to the ground and the evacuees exit as it refolds. The system repeats this cycle, transporting responders up and into the building and evacuating people safely to the ground as long as required.

The system, based on a unique, patented technology, enjoys unique advantages over competing evacuation concepts and products:

  • Very high throughput capacity;
  • Effective to all building heights;
  • Serves both evacuation (“down”) and rescue personnel transport (“up”);
  • Requires no skill or unfamiliar actions by evacuees; and is suitable for all ages and physical conditions of evacuees, including people with disabilities.
  • Fire resistant, allowing for tenability under extreme conditions

In hospitals (or homes for the elderly), where patients are often unable to walk due to illness or temporary medical condition, fire emergencies pose an extreme hazard to tenants.

The Escape Rescue System provides these patients with an effective and guaranteed means of escape from any floor of a hospital, regardless of their mobility impairment. The system readily accommodates patients in wheelchairs; those constrained to a bed can board the Escape Rescue cabin in their bed, with all the life support systems, together with up to 6 accompanying or additional persons.

The Escape Rescue System is the only technology with such capability.

The Escape Rescue System application for High-rise buildings is the only truly effective way of preparing a high-rise building for rapid and effective evacuation in case of a major emergency situation.

The Escape Rescue System travels rapidly on the vertical axis of the building, transporting rescue personnel and their equipment to the higher floors in but minutes, while delivering large numbers of rescues safely to the ground.

The Standard System and its mass evacuation capabilities makes it unique for high-rise commercial buildings with high density of tennts on each floor, while the Lite Systems is more suited for less-populated commercial and residential high-rise buildings.

The Escape Rescue System – a Revolution in Rapid & Safe Evacuation

An advanced multi-platform rescue system installed unobtrusively on the roof-top, requiring almost no alteration to the building, Suitable for both existing and new structures.

The only platform solution to comply with the American Society for Testing and Materials - ASTM Standard E 2513 for Multi-Story Building External Evacuation Platform Rescue Systems.

NFPA Building Construction and Safety Code (NFPA 5000) and the Life Safety Code (NFPA 101) include adoptable annexes that specify the conditions for installation of Platform Rescue Systems (Such as the Escape Rescue System)

  • Saves lives!
  • Protects property by facilitating a speedy response to emergencies
  • Ensures peace of mind for tenants, employers, owners and building management
  • Provides effective and guaranteed means of escape for hospital bedridden patients or people with mobility problems, from any floor of a hospital, regardless of their mobility impairment.
