The Committee on Standards (COS) of ASTM has given final approval for publication of E-2513-07, Standard Specification for Multi-Story Building External Evacuation Platform Rescue Systems.

Publication of this standard is the culmination of three years of intensive work by Subcommittee E06-77 on external evacuation devices.
